Recommended Use
Best for indoor small to medium cats (up to ~12 lbs) that scratch furniture, carpets, or rugs. Ideal for apartment living or any room where you want to provide a dedicated vertical scratch outlet. Not suitable as a climbing tower or for large breeds over 15 lbs.
How to Use
- Place the mushroom post on a flat, stable floor surface — no mounting or tools needed.
- Encourage your cat by rubbing a small amount of catnip on the sisal wrap or placing the post near a spot your cat already scratches.
Care and Maintenance
Brush off loose sisal fibers weekly with a stiff brush or lint roller. Spot-clean the base with a damp cloth — do not submerge in water. Replace the post when sisal becomes fully frayed or loose threads exceed 1 in length. Store indoors; extended outdoor humidity can loosen sisal wrapping.
Important Limitations
Designed for indoor use only — outdoor moisture will degrade sisal and PVC adhesion. Not intended for large or heavy cats over 15 lbs; the broad base may shift under full-body weight of larger breeds. Not a multi-level cat tree; provides scratching and vertical stretch only, not perching or climbing.
